Send it across town.We hold the money till it lands.

Invite-only for now. Sign in with the number you were invited with.

Who holds the money?

If you've ever sent a package across Lagos, you know how it goes. Pay the rider upfront and hope your goods arrive. Ask them to deliver first and they have to hope you'll pay.

Someone is always trusting a stranger. Mulaport holds the money in the middle, so neither of you has to.

Five steps. The money moves in the last one.

Follow ₦6,500 from a Yaba office to a customer in Lekki Phase 1.

  1. 1

Book and see the fare first

Search for the pickup and drop-off, or drop a pin when Google can't find the exact spot. We work out the road route (up to 50 km) and show a fare for each vehicle. Add a contact and a landmark for each stop, because the rider will need them.

Where the money is: ₦6,500 is still with you.

  2. 2

    Pay. We hold it.

You pay through our payment partner's checkout. The money lands with Mulaport, not with the rider, and stays there until the job is done. Then we find the nearest free verified rider for you.

Where the money is: ₦6,500 is held by Mulaport.

  3. 3

A verified rider picks up, with your code

You see the rider's first name and vehicle as soon as they accept. At pickup, whoever hands the package over reads them your pickup code. If the code doesn't match, the pickup doesn't happen.

Where the money is: ₦6,500 is still held by Mulaport.

  4. 4

Track it, then a photo and a second code

Watch the rider on the map while the package is on the road. At the drop-off they take a photo first, then the person receiving it gives them the delivery code. Send that code to your receiver before the rider arrives.

Where the money is: ₦6,500 is still held by Mulaport.

  5. 5

Confirm, and the rider gets paid

Happy with it? Tap Confirm delivery and the rider's share is sent. Something wrong? Report a problem and the money stays held. If you don't respond, it confirms itself 24 hours after delivery.

Where the money is: the rider's share is paid to Musa.

No code,
no handover.

Every delivery has two four-digit codes, one for pickup and one for drop-off. The rider can't complete either step without the right one.

Only on your phone
Codes show on your order page. Riders and our support team never see them.
Five tries, then a lock
Five wrong codes lock that step for ten minutes, so guessing gets nowhere.
Photo first
At the drop-off the rider takes a photo before entering the code, so you can see where it was left.

Every rider is checked by a person.

Before a rider sees a single job, someone on our team goes through their whole application: ID, licence, permit, vehicle papers, a guarantor and a selfie taken on the spot. If anything doesn't add up, it goes back to them with the reason.

Got a bike? Ride with Mulaport.

See the pickup area, the drop-off area and exactly what you'll earn before you accept. Every job is paid for before you move, and your money is released when the client confirms, or automatically after 24 hours.

How riding works

Questions people ask us

Who holds my money during the delivery?

Mulaport does. You pay through our payment partner when you book, the money sits in Mulaport's account, and nothing goes to the rider until the delivery is confirmed. There's no wallet: each payment is held for its own order.

When does the rider get paid?

When you tap Confirm delivery. If you don't respond, the delivery confirms itself 24 hours after the rider marks it delivered, so riders aren't left waiting on a client who has moved on.

What if something goes wrong?

Tap Report a problem on your order (not received, damaged, wrong item or something else). Reporting stops the automatic confirmation, so the payment stays held while we look into it with you and the rider.

How are riders checked?

Every rider applies with their national ID (NIN), driver's licence, rider's permit, vehicle registration, insurance, a utility bill, a passport photo, a selfie and a guarantor. A member of our team reviews every application by hand before the rider can take a job.

How is the fare worked out?

From the real road route between your pickup and drop-off and the vehicle you choose: bicycle, motorbike, car or van. You see the fare for each before you book, and the fare you book at is the fare you pay.

Can I pay the rider cash?

No. Payment goes through Mulaport so it can be held until the delivery is done. That protection only works if the money isn't in anyone's pocket yet.

Where do you deliver?

Within Nigeria, for trips of up to 50 km by road. Every pickup and drop-off is checked against Google Maps so the rider is sent to the exact spot, and you can drop a pin and add a landmark when an address alone won't do.

How do I sign up?

Mulaport is invite-only while we grow. If you've been invited, sign in with that phone number and we'll text you a one-time code. No password to remember.
